In my junior and senior years of college, I served as the webmaster for the Michigan Equestrian Team, where I implemented necessary updates to the existing site.
Design Process
Upon becoming webmaster, I noticed that the equestrian team website's member photos had hover effects displaying rider information, suitable for desktop use. To ensure mobile responsiveness and consistent functionality, I replaced the hover effects with clickable images on mobile.

Mobile friendly images
During my updates to the site, I identified missing content, including a sponsorship section to acknowledge supporting companies, an explanation of philanthropic efforts, and a section showcasing past horse show results and placings, all of which I added.

Outcomes
While I was webmaster, I was able to build upon my HTML and CSS skills and implement UX best practices to the site, This resulted in a positive public image for the Michigan Equestrian team, and offered desired information to site visitors, particularly potential new members.
When I graduated, I handed off code files to my successor and the site has since been reworked. This said, you can still view the version of the site that I worked on with the Wayback Machine:
